CANCUN
Camping.There are a number of camping areas in Quintana Roo State, including Puerto Juárez and Punta Sam.
COZUMEL
Cozumel Coral Reef National Park. On the western coast of the island, to the north and south of San Miguel, there are around 25 coral reefs that combine an infinite variety of coral and may be explored by visitors. Home to hundreds of species of large fish that are not afraid of humans, such as the grouper and species of coral that are soft, flexible and extraordinarily beautiful.
IXTAPA
Horse Riding. The beaches at Zihuatanejo are famous for their horse riding, with a number of places set up for renting horses right on the beach.
LOS CABOS
Eco-Turism. From December to April there is a chance to see the grey whales on their annual migration to give birth. The migration is classed as the longest in the world, covering a distance of more than 2,500 kms. From September to December there is also a chance to see the green turtle.
MEXICO CITY
Papalote, Children's Museum. A Mexican museum that covers the whole of the country's different regions and cultures, both in the form (the colour, design, etc.) and in the content: pre-Hispanic artefacts, architecture, language, art. As well as aiming to provide children with an interactive experience of the advances in science and technology, it also serves as a showcase for Mexican culture.
