CANCUN

• Tres Ríos. A National Park only 54 km from Cancun where visitors may travel by kayak down the river, ride horses or snorkel or scuba dive in nearby coral reefs.
  
  

• Xcaret. Comercializadora de la Riviera Maya S.A. de C.V. Blvd. Kukulcan km 2.5
  
  
• Xel-Há. A National Park 115 km from Cancun with underground rivers, lagoons, caverns, virgin jungle and archaeological remains. Swimming and snorkelling.

COZUMEL

• Chankanaab. A lagoon linked to the sea by narrow canals that are home to underwater caverns with extraordinary multi-coloured and unique internal coral reefs. There is also a beach nearby set in dense tropical vegetation.

IXTAPA

• La Laguna del Negro. Near Zihuatanejo, an extraordinary place to experience nature and stunning sunsets. The area has no tourism facilities.

LOS CABOS

• Cabo Pulmo. A protected area, 63 km. from San José del Cabo, with the only coral reef in the State and numerous fish and alga species. A National Marine Park spread over 7,111 hectares, ideal for scuba diving.
  
  

• Estero de San José. Next to San José del Cabo, a part seawater, part freshwater lagoon separated from the sea by a small sandbank. The water has a surface area of 50 hectares and is home to a large number of palm trees and species of birds, reptiles and mammals.

MEXICO CITY

• Parque Hundido. in the Nápoles district, exhibiting replicas of pre-Hispanic objects reminding visitors that they are in the ancient settlement of Mixcoac.
  
  

• Bosque de Chapultepec. At the end of the Paseo de la Reforma Avenue is Chapultepec Hill, with its ancient woods and castle. For centuries, Chapultepec has been a meeting point for the inhabitants of this gigantic metropolis, a green oasis where they can spend their free time. There are also cultural areas, the National Anthropology Museum, the fair, the Zoo and the lakes.
  
  
• There are also two buildings that cannot be visited, but are interesting nevertheless: the Molino del Rey, a colonial building where wheat was first ground and where gunpowder was later prepared, and the Residencia de Los PinosThe latter is home and office to the President of the Republic. Even though his official office is in the Palacio Nacional, he tends to work here more and more frequently due to the privacy of the location.
  
  
• Parque México. Between Mexico and Michoacán Avenues. Originally called Parque General San Martín after the Argentine liberator. Planned in 1927, in the middle of the park there is an open-air auditorium. The park benches, signs lamps, fountains, etc. are all in Art Deco style.

PUERTO VALLARTA

• Opposite Mismaloya Beach is the Los Arcos marine reserve, three cliffs surrounded by the sea, breeding ground for sea birds and home to marine mammals and other marine life to be seen while diving.
  
  

• Mismaloya. At the end of a small cove, one of the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta and a favourite for swimmers and divers. Hotels and restaurants.
