CANCUN
Tres Ríos. A National Park only 54 km from Cancun where visitors may travel by kayak down the river, ride horses or snorkel or scuba dive in nearby coral reefs.
COZUMEL
Chankanaab. A lagoon linked to the sea by narrow canals that are home to underwater caverns with extraordinary multi-coloured and unique internal coral reefs. There is also a beach nearby set in dense tropical vegetation.
IXTAPA
La Laguna del Negro. Near Zihuatanejo, an extraordinary place to experience nature and stunning sunsets. The area has no tourism facilities.
LOS CABOS
Cabo Pulmo. A protected area, 63 km. from San José del Cabo, with the only coral reef in the State and numerous fish and alga species. A National Marine Park spread over 7,111 hectares, ideal for scuba diving.
MEXICO CITY
Parque Hundido. in the Nápoles district, exhibiting replicas of pre-Hispanic objects reminding visitors that they are in the ancient settlement of Mixcoac.
PUERTO VALLARTA
Opposite Mismaloya Beach is the Los Arcos marine reserve, three cliffs surrounded by the sea, breeding ground for sea birds and home to marine mammals and other marine life to be seen while diving.
